Dustin Poirier's Greatest Weapon
Though a small number have been quick to write off the UFC 264 contest between Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor due to the freakish finish that brought the show to a close after just one round, the majority of us, at least in some way, came away from that bout with enough closure to be comfortable with the idea of moving on.
Because, in reality, we all know what we saw over the course of the two and half or so rounds of action this pair have had together between UFC 257 and 264.
And even though that might seem like a relatively low sample size, even across two bouts, there was enough of a disparity in overall quality between the two for me, personally, to be at peace with the idea of leaving it at that for now.
