Michael Chandler to fight in Winter 2021

Michael Chandler will fight again this year. The three-time Bellator lightweight champion and recent UFC signee will be fighting for the third time in the year 2021. The fight is set to take place in the winter, but no opponent or date has been set, reports Chris Lebeau.

Chandler made waves in his UFC debut in January after beating Dan Hooker by TKO at UFC 257. He then fought for the vacant lightweight title at UFC 262 against Charles Oliveira; losing the fight by TKO in the 2nd round after a back and forth war, making him 1-1 since signing with the UFC.

Chandler has said that he is “here for a good time, not for a long time,” in regards to his UFC career. He will likely need a win in order to keep his title hopes alive.
