Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul agree to exhibition bout

While unfortunate, it would not even be an exaggeration to consider Logan and Jake Paul to be some of the biggest PPV stars in boxing today.

Just last week, Jake Paul vs. Nate Robinson served as the co-main event for Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. And while the latter was certainly a big draw in its own right, the star power of the Paul brothers is undeniable, particularly among younger audiences.

Now it has been announced that Logan Paul – Jake’s older brother – will be competing against boxing hall of famer Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout.

The pay-per-view will be available via Fanmio, with prices starting at $25 dollars. Paul has only two fights’ worth of experience, both of them against fellow YouTuber KSI.

Mayweather, conversely, is arguably the greatest boxer of all time, with an undefeated record of 50-0. His last official bout was in August 2017 against then UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor. He did, however, fight an exhibition match against Japanese kickboxing megastar Tenshin Nasukawa in late 2018.

While traditional boxing fans may bemoan such events, as they continue to sell, we are likely to see more of them.
