Dana White Confirms Masvidal vs Usman in July

The UFC's next big-ticket fight has been announced by Dana White on the Jim Rome Show. The reigning 'BMF" title-holder, Jorge Masvidal, will go up against Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title.

In the past few weeks, Masvidal and Usman have been going back and forth on social media, trading insults. The two fighters were recently involved in a verbal altercation in Miami, ahead of Super Bowl LIV:

White announced that the fight is currently planned for International Fight Week in July. Masvidal is riding a huge three-fight win-streak that has launched him into super-stardom and Usman is looking to defend his belt once more after an impressive showing against Colby Covington last December.
