Bare Knuckle FC extends offer to Mike Tyson; Tyson declares "I'm back"

Mike Tyson has posted a training video on Instagram, declaring “I’m back.”

The video features a highlight of the 53-year old former heavyweight champion doing pad work, and looking quite impressive given his age and his time away from the sport.

This comes amid reports of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship president David Feldman offering Tyson a $20 million dollar deal to fight for the promotion.

Under the deal, Tyson would earn $20 million dollars per fight and be allowed to handpick his opponents from the BKFC roster. Feldman told Heavy.com, “Mike’s video showing himself training and desire to participate in exhibitions inspired us to reach out and make the offer.”

The nascent BKFC has been eager to scoop up big names, having already signed former UFC fighter (and Conor McGregor teammate) Artem Lobov, as well as former WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi.

“Iron Mike” would be, by far, the biggest name in the promotion, and the suggested $20 million dollar per fight payout would make him one of the highest paid combat athletes in the world, even at his advanced age.
