Khabib Nurmagomedov's father in critical condition, has been transferred to military hospital in Moscow
Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, father and coach of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, is reportedly in critical condition.
Speaking to Sport Express on Wednesday, a source said that Nurmagomedov – who had been hospitalized with pneumonia in late April – has been transferred to a military hospital in Moscow, where he is currently comatose and undergoing treatment. The source added: “He’s on his own there, they won’t allow family.”
These reports were confirmed by Abdulmanap’s second most prominent fighter, UFC lightweight contender Islam Makhachev, who said via Instagram live stream: “He is in Moscow, he is in critical condition.”
Nurmagomedov’s condition has reportedly worsened since he was first hospitalized.
