Former light heavyweight knockout artist Anthony “Rumble” Johnson posted on Instagram: “The same bond [Khabib] had with his dad, I also had with my grandfather who adopted me, so I understand what you’re going through brother. Stay strong; we’re with you.”
UFC women’s strawweight champion Zhang Weili posted “Rest in peace,” along with a clip of her greeting Khabib and Abdulmanap at a UFC media event.
Former UFC featherweight king Jose Aldo posted, “My deepest condolences go to the Nurmagomedov family during this time!”
