Henry Cejudo: Flyweight is a Triple C division

Henry Cejudo does not seem to have any plans to return to the flyweight division. That has not stopped him from making claims of ownership over it.

Last Saturday, at UFC on ESPN+ 27, Deiveson Figueiredo knocked out Joseph Benavidez in what was supposed to be for the flyweight strap. However, Figueiredo did not become champion, as he weighed in at 2.5lbs over the 125lbs limit.

Cejudo used the opportunity to declare himself the flyweight king. “I am the only fighter in human history to defend my belt on the couch,” Cejudo said. “It’s a ‘Triple C’ weight division.”

“Triple C” is set defend his bantamweight title against Jose Aldo at UFC 250 in May.
